The Official Visitor Information Site for North East England
Demesne Farm campsite is a small secluded site on a working farm in the picturesque North Tyne village of Bellingham.
The site which offers stunning views of the surrounding fells can accommodate up to six caravans and twenty four tent pitches together with electric hook ups. The centre of the village is less than 100 metres from the site.
Demesne farm is an ideal base for families, cyclists and walkers who wish to experience the beauty and tranquillity of Northumberland. Many new and established cycling and walking routes pass the farm including the Pennine Way, The Reiver's Cycle Route and the new Pennine Cycleway. The area is also popular with rock climbers and Duke of Edinburgh award groups.
The campsite has ladies and gentlemen toilet and shower blocks, which are located within the traditional farm buildings, set in a cobbled yard. Each block has hot and cold water and dish washing facilities. Information leaflets can be found here.
The site is close to the village and all it's amenities, and provides a base to explore the borders, coast and local attractions such as Alnwick Castle and Gardens.
There is also a bunk house which sleeps 15 on site.
